Final Assembly


Trial fitting the arbors between the plates.

Positioning the back cock ready for drilling and tapping (BA screws and taper pins).

Tapping the back plate.

Tapped and pinned (prior to cutting, filing and blending in the pins).

Milling the insertion slot into the back plate.

Completed back plate.

Drilling the holes for the escapement eccentric in the front plate.

Broaching the pivot hole for the reverse minute wheel.

Finished front plate.


Frame and arbors c/w wheels and pinions.

Motion work and hands fitted.

Fully assembled and ready for the first run.
