Plates & Pillars

I didn't manage to take any photos of cutting the frame plates from the parent stock. I achieved this on the milling machine, using a slitting saw to cut the lines on both plates simultaneously, before draw filing them to give a good surface finish.

Once the pillars were tightened with a tommy bar, they were tapped for receiving the hold down bolts.
